Liberty Charity Foundation came out of a revelation from James 2:14–18:
“What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do? So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless. Now someone may argue, “Some people have faith; others have good deeds.” But I say, “How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds.” (James 2:14–18 NLT)
.It dawned on our founder Mr. Fredrick Ezeji-okoye that work must move into action. He shared this revelation with his wife, Mrs. Ijeoma Ezeji Okoye who eagerly joined him in brainstorming how he might make this a reality.
They immediately started with tithing, reaching out to the less privileged, widows, fatherless, and orphans in Africa so they may know Jesus as Savior in addition to meeting their physical needs.
In 2019, they officially registered Liberty Charity Foundation as a 501(c)(3) to allow others to contribute to this life-giving mission.
Today, several volunteers and partners give their time, talents, and money without expecting anything in return. As a result, 100% of the funds received go to the less privileged, widows, fatherless, and orphans.
Hence, this organization is unique in that we have 0% administration fees.
We believe that God has blessed us to be a blessing, and we are honored to serve as vessels under Liberty Charity Foundation.
